This year, in fact, Urban Xchange’s plan was grand: preparations started early with the Artisans Project, a two-month-long collaboration that paired six contemporary artists and designers with six traditional Penang craftsmen, including a rattan weaver, a signboard carver and a paper effigy maker. Title: All walks of life

This artwork portrays the island of Pinang as food paradise. All the different shapes of mirrors are described as the people, it reflects interesting images in all different angles.
The integration of the sculpture and the sea is to reflect all different people in this island, they learn from each other, like the mirrors absorb the light and reflects it beautifully. It is from all the little bit and pieces to make Penang whole.
